Cases
Each sign hanging around the room has the name of a different contraceptive option. A series of case vignettes will be read aloud. For each vignette, go stand under the sign with the option you think is the best for the patient and her situation. Be ready to justify your choice.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, active participants will be able to:
- List all of the major contraceptive options.
- Compare and contrast the risks and benefits of each contraceptive option for particular patient situations.
- Describe the major contraindications to using each option.
